Mining Locations is your personal bookmark manager for Star Citizen mining spots. When you find a productive asteroid field, a rich surface deposit on a moon, or a cave full of high-yield Quantainium, save it here with your in-game coordinates so you can return to it later. No more losing good spots between sessions.
Each bookmark records the location name, system (Stanton or Pyro), ore types present, quality observations, and any freeform notes you want to attach — scanner readings, nearby hazards, best approach vectors. Ore types are displayed as tile chips matching the rest of Strata's ore icons, so you can scan your saved spots at a glance and filter by ore type to find which bookmark has the Bexalite or Taranite you need today.
Saved locations can be attached to Work Order group sessions, so your crew sees where you're headed and can log their orders against the same location bookmark. Over time your locations list becomes a personal atlas of the best mining in the verse, enriched with your own field notes.
Use Mining Locations in conjunction with the Ore Finder to discover new spots when your saved locations are depleted, and the Refinery Advisor to route your haul to the best refinery for what you've collected.
